I am so fucking happy something related to Funny Joey ended up on the frontpage dude you have no idea
not only did this perfectly portray the pure SHOCK poor Joel felt in this moment of what at first seems to be betrayal, but the smooth animation genuinely flows really well despite the focus not really being on that
also the background is beautiful, all in all you get a good 5/5 from my dumbass good sir

everyone who had a hand in working on this did such a great job!! the charm that was in the comic translated really well into the animation format I think!
and with a premise that'll require a lot of back-and-forth talking I think the voice acting was great and the chemistry felt pretty authentic too!

the feel-good 2000s vibe easily came through as well and as someone who grew up in the 2000s I can't help but appreciate it
I'd be interested in seeing more of this for sure and think it'd be awesome to see you all improve as you move forward in the project! great work!

this is so cute!! I was expecting a little more since I didn't see how long the video was, but this was adorable for what it was, I wholeheartedly believe that much!

either way I can't help but be a bit of a sucker for the vhs kinda thing hehe

Thanks for the kind words! Yes, you’re certainly correct in that Jack was indeed my primary inspiration for beginning VHS-style music videos whenever I did about two years ago. I’d also like to give credit to my buddy Alec Normal who does similar stuff that I’ve also been inspired by.

made it in one day and yet there's so much going on dude honestly I feel like the "mess" you might be seeing adds to it!! there's just a certain quality to your animations that makes them so fun to watch, and the fact you got it done so quickly in just one day makes it all the more admirable
also gotta love the Kid cameo, we love Soul Eater in this house >:)
