Ok this was actually so much funnier than I was expecting, I'll be honest and tell you I have no idea exactly WHAT I was expecting (I think I originally thought of something having to do with body issues or something along those lines) but it wasn't this and yet I ended up loving it
something about our main characters is how much they stick out when compared to the more "human" looking characters, the vibrant colours really make them pop out and that really scratches my brain right when it comes to theme, the backgrounds and environments can be seen as simplistic and I find a lot of charm in that also!
when it comes to dialogue I feel like many others here in the review section when I say sometimes it drags on a *little* bit too long but honestly it seems like you guys are having so much fun doing your lines sometimes I don't even notice! one thing I love about this pilot is exactly that, it feels natural and just like a couple of goobers having a good time during an improv session or something
it kinda tickled me whenever we'd get that quick cut back to the guy tied up as well, musical sting and all
all in all if you guys wanna continue this as a series?? I can happily say that I'd be super excited to follow along! it's a silly good time and I like it :>
