I KNEW THAT HAD TO BE A LINK HORSE, I RECOGNIZE THAT FACE ANYWHERE
you made him look so good even as a horse! :'D look at those lovely golden locks, he will be a glorious and noble steed >:D
I also just?? love your interpretation of Epona??? as a human?
I always love the tan-skin light-hair combo, and those little light freckles too are so adorable
honestly this kinda AU is really interesting to me because Link is SUCH a major character, but imagining the spotlight instead on his humble little horsey friend? there is just so much potential there!!
I love her outfit, I love your idea, I love "plot ensues", you did great my friend

your art is so high-quality tho!! and you do such a great job portraying his smugness in his expressions I love it
the lighting in this one is gorgeous as well!! looks like it came straight out of the comics!

hoping you get that loadout my dude, your gamer struggles are indeed very valid :'v

itskeej responds:

oh HECK YEAH THAT WAS THE GOAL, im a sucker for horror so i knew what i had to do. >:)
I DID ACTUALLY except for the hat Das Maddendoktor.. IM SO STINGY I CAMPED THE COMMUNITY MARKET until i could get 2/3 with my whopping 80 something cents from a leftover giftcard LMAO. AAAAA

join the club my dear friend, I've never ONCE played a shooter but I am seriously considering TF2 because of the wonderful characters alone, especially Scout much like yourself 😔
also your style very much fits the characters of TF2 very very well indeed and the facial expression you gave to Scout fits VERY much so, he's got quite the cheeky longe face and you portrayed that greatly, really well done ❤️
now let us sob together-

itskeej responds:

AWE HEHE, honestly this has really made my night! PLEASE DEFINITELY GIVE IT A TRY, i... myself am a coward and i dont play on servers much but even just playing against the AI is kinda fun on its own... >:) lots of odd moments i laugh about all the time.

this reminds me that I still have to watch The Shining as well dear god I'm missing out on so many movies
I understand why Stephen kind was unhappy with this adaptation, but this movie is an honest masterpiece from what I've heard and seen!! and while Wendy's face is looking a little sideways here, I can overlook that by the pure fear I can see in her expression and the love you seem to have for this movie's dynamics!
I would absolutely love to see more horror from you, my friend, you seem to have a really refreshing view on it!!

Precipitation24 responds:

Thank you! I think the biggest benefit of sketching a scene from a movie is that you learn the fundamentals such as lighting and actors' performances, which are especially important for storytelling illustrations, but you also get a chance to think, "If I were the director of this movie, what would I have them act like?" In this scene, I portrayed her like this, but this expression is not in the original film, but is a recent expression used in Japanese anime.

wow, everytime I see one of your American movie redraws I just can't take my eyes off them!!
when I looked up the scene that this came from I was kinda shocked at how well you portrayed her hair and posture! not to mention how well you replicated the scene itself with the props and furniture and such
even the fact we can see every curve of the man's face shape here in the front kinda amazes me because that's a detail I don't think many consider in angled shots like this!
I must admit I haven't seen Pulp Fiction yet, but knowing how much of a passion you have for American-made movies as well warms my western heart ❤️

Precipitation24 responds:

Thank you! Pulp Fiction is a really great movie and I recommend it. Her performance is portrayed as a casual gesture in the film, but it was very attractive to me in scenes where you can read that she trusts and loves her partner on screen.
